Why Mediation?

Mediation is a process wherein the parties meet with a mutually selected impartial and neutral person who assists them in the negotiation of their differences.

Mediation is a structured, interactive process where an impartial third party assists disputing parties in resolving conflict through the use of specialized communication and negotiation techniques. All participants in mediation are encouraged to actively participate in the process.

here are 6 steps to a formal mediation; 1) introductory remarks, 2) statement of the problem by the parties, 3) information gathering time, 4) identification of the problems, 5) bargaining and generating options, and 6) reaching an agreement.

A Humbling Practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

Resolving conflicts through mediation, Facilitation, and restorative justice practices (ADR) is the manifestation of the importance of respect, relationship and growth in civility and humanity.

Family mediation practice includes Division of property (Separation mediation) and parenting plan mediation (if couples have a child under 18) .

Facilitation is a process in which a facilitator helps a group of people to work together better on the issue that arose. The facilitator (neutral third party) helps them understand their common objectives and plan how to achieve them during meetings or discussions.

Restorative Justice (RJ) basically means an approach to justice where the responses to a misbehavior shift from punishment to responsibility-taking of a harmer and restoring the harm of the harmed one. is to organize a meeting between the victim and the offender, sometimes with representatives of the wider community. Sahar is a professional in implementing restorative justice practices such as restorative justice fasilitation at school settings and victim-offender restorative dialogue in the criminal justice setting.
